As a full-time Warehouse Assistant - Bale Press Operator, you will play a key role in;
- Efficiently processing donations and products in accordance with operational requirements, ensuring a high standard of customer service is delivered to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Upholdand promoteexceptional standards of culture, quality, and safety always.
- Contributes to the overall success of Good Sammy’s mission and commercial objectives.
Job Description
What you'll do;
- Load, unload and operate bale press machine.
- Ensure work areas are cleaned and maintained.
- Report any problems regarding safety, production or maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure internal or external customers receive excellent customer service.
- Ensure exceptional standards of culture, quality and safety are upheld.
- Work as an integral member of the Recycling Plant to assist in the overall achievement of Good Sammy’s mission and commercial imperatives.
- Make recommendations to your supervisor on potential improvements.
- Participate in meetings and training.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
Desired Skills and Experience
What you'll bring;
- Forklift licence (preferred).
- Ability to handle heavy equipment.
- Ability to carry heavy loads (safely).
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Able to multitask and use own initiative.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Outstanding physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive work activities and movements.
