Cater Care is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Catering Assistant at our Aged Care site in Port Macquarie, NSW.
What this role involves:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Assist Chefs with packing away deliveries,empty bin rubbish removal during shift
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
- Rapid, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Previous experience in medical/hospital sector would be well regarded
