Working within a specialist procurement and contract management team, you will play a key role in delivering value-for-money procurement outcomes while providing expert advice to a diverse range of stakeholders.

Your new role

Reporting to the Manager, Procurement and Contract Management Services, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities and contribute to the development of procurement strategies, contract management practices, and supplier engagement initiatives.

- Lead complex procurement and sourcing projects from planning through to contract management.
- Develop procurement strategies, specifications, tender documentation, and evaluation methodologies.
- Conduct commercial, financial, and risk assessments to support procurement decisions.
- Manage tender processes, negotiations, contract implementation, and supplier performance.
- Provide high-level procurement advice to internal stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant legislation, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice procurement outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role,



you will bring:

- Ideally, recent experience within SA Government
- Demonstrated experience managing complex procurement and contract management activities.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to assess financial, legal, and operational risks.
- Experience leading procurement projects and working with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of government procurement frameworks and contract management principles will be highly regarded.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work autonomously.
