Eligibility: Open to Everyone We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Procurement Officer, to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance for a period of up to 2 years.

Remuneration: ASO7 – Salary Range ($116,089 - $125,490 p.a.).

About the opportunity:

As a Senior Procurement Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex procurements and helping the organisation achieve its strategic objectives. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you’ll provide expert advice on sourcing and contracting strategies, lead end-to-end procurement activities for ICT goods and services and contribute to informed decision-making through your procurement expertise.

About you To be successful you will:

- Lead complex procurements and develop sourcing and contracting strategies that deliver value for money and support organisational objectives.
- Partner with a diverse range of stakeholders to assess business needs, analyse markets and identify opportunities that inform procurement decisions.
- Provide trusted procurement expertise and advice, helping to achieve commercially sound outcomes while managing risk effectively.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, supporting efficient procurement processes and compliance with government procurement requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members, sharing knowledge and helping drive high-quality procurement outcomes.
