The Role

Sitting in the Major Projects Finance team, this role supports the reliability and integrity of end-to-end financial reporting for a portfolio of major projects, partnering with project and construction teams to deliver accurate month-end reporting, forecasting and decision support.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting end to end month-end tasks and providing in-depth and meaningful insights into the Projects financial performance
- Supporting the project with ad hoc financial and commercial analysis and reports as requested
- Develop a thorough understanding of project transaction cycles, including capex, opex, labour resourcing and procure-to-pay flows.




- Prepare project cashflow forecasts and support the monthly forecast, budget and asset capitalisation processes.
- Provide performance reports and dashboards comparing actuals to expected outcomes, with commentary and actionable insight for project leaders.
- Provide ad hoc financial and commercial analysis to support decision-making, including contract approvals, plus broader systems and process support.

About You

- CA/CPA qualified.
- Experience in a Project Accounting
- Demonstrated skills in financial modelling and performance analysis.
- Demonstrable experience in business performance and process improvement
- Experience with asset cost accounting and capitalisation
- Advanced excel skills
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Customer focus with solid relationship building skills.
