Our rapidly expanding Sunshine Coast Architectural metalwork business is looking for amotivated Saw Operator to join our team.

SAW OPERATOR

Australian Metalwork Systems is seeking a Saw Operationfor a full-time position at our factory in Yandina, Sunshine Coast.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in our architectural aluminium fabrication business. We are looking for someone displaying excellent attention to detail, commitment to high quality, and someone who works well independently as well as in a team.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

- Candidate to be familiar with aluminium extrusion
- Ability to interpret and cut aluminium off shop drawings
- Willingness to learn how to operate different workshop machinery
- Experience in completing stock takes, or willingness to learn and become accountable for stock takes
- Competent in keep track of stock, time sheets etc.
- Ability towork as a team player




- Adhere to OH&S; requirements and maintain a protected working environment
- Commitment to adhere to LEAN manufacturing principles and strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of day to day tasks
- Team lead on tracking of stock and managing team time sheets to enable accurate planning and project costing

- Ability to communicate effectively to all team members
- Previous experience in operating a Saw

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in fabrication
- Ability to accurately read technical drawings
- Right to work in Australia
