Locum Nuclear Medicine Technologist opportunity – flexible with dates and duration!

Operating across eight quality assured practices in Central Queensland – from Yeppoon to Rockhampton, Emerald, and Gladstone – we also partner closely with our sister network, Sunshine Coast Radiology.
As a Locum Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a key role within our Nuclear Medicine department, working solo at our clinic based at Rockhampton Base Hospital. We are flexible with dates and duration – (4 weeks minimum ideally).
You will be responsible for:
- Performing high-quality Nuclear Medicine
- Radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures
- Maintaining best practice radiation safety standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff and graduates
- Delivering exceptional patient-centred care
- Working collaboratively with Radiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Current AHPRA registration and relevant Nuclear Medicine qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Passion for mentoring and supporting junior technologists
