L.COOPER REAL ESTATE SOMERVILLE is seeking an experienced and professional Senior Property Manager to join our dynamic team in Somerville, Victoria. This is a full-time position that offers the chance to take a leadership role in managing residential properties and overseeing a portfolio of high-quality residential leasing operations.

As Senior Property

Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional property management services, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards across all properties under your care. This role is pivotal to our success, as you will drive operational excellence and contribute strategically to the growth and reputation of L.COOPER REAL ESTATE SOMERVILLE.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Conduct property inspections and assessments to maintain property standards and identify maintenance requirements
- Respond to and resolve tenant inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, fostering positive relationships
- Prepare and manage lease agreements, rental applications, and tenancy documentation
- Coordinate maintenance and repair services with contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and cost-effectiveness
- Collect rental payments and manage financial transactions associated with properties in your portfolio
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all properties, including tenant information and maintenance history
- Conduct routine follow-ups with tenants to ensure satisfaction and early identification of potential issues
- Liaise with landlords and investors, providing regular updates on property performance and financial matters

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in residential property management, ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of residential tenancy laws and property management regulations in Victoria
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to manage relationships with tenants, landlords, and contractors
- Proficiency in property management software and general IT systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Sound financial management and accounting knowledge, including rent collection and budgeting
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a team environment
- Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to handle conflicts and complaints professionally
