We're seeking a senior-level Residential Estimator to manage the end-to-end quoting process for residential electrical projects. This is a full-time, in-house position based at our Malaga office — you'll work closely with our operations and project delivery teams to ensure accurate, competitive, and profitable quotes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for residential electrical projects from plans and specifications
- Manage the full quoting process using SimPRO, from initial takeoff through to final submission
- Liaise with builders, clients, and suppliers to clarify scope and pricing
- Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
- Review project plans and specifications to identify scope, risks, and cost drivers
- Support handover of won jobs to the operations team
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and templates
About You
- 2-3 years' experience in residential electrical estimating (essential)
- Hands-on experience using SimPRO (preferred)
- Strong understanding of residential electrical scope, materials, and pricing
- Confident reading and interpreting residential building plans and specifications
- Familiarity with WA electrical compliance requirements (AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules) is highly regarded
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and strong time management
- Based in Perth and available to work in-house at our Malaga office
