Working across a large portfolio of initiatives, you will provide independent security architecture assurance, influence strategic technology decisions, and help ensure solutions are secure, compliant, scalable and fit for purpose.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Security Architect, you will act as a trusted security advisor across multiple projects, providing leadership and assurance throughout the solution lifecycle. You will review and approve security architectures and detailed designs, assess security risks, and guide project teams on secure-by-design principles across Microsoft technologies and broader enterprise environments. You'll work with architects, delivery teams, programme stakeholders and security specialists to help shape secure, compliant, and resilient solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

- Review, validate and approve security architecture and detailed solution designs.
- Conduct security risk assessments and provide practical, risk-based recommendations.
- Ensure alignment with healthcare regulations, security standards, and governance requirements.
- Provide security assurance and oversight throughout project delivery.
- Support strategic architecture decisions through expert security guidance.
- Engage with project teams and senior stakeholders to influence secure design outcomes.
- Contribute to security roadmaps, standards, patterns, and governance frameworks.




- Champion security best practices across delivery teams.
- Mentor architects, engineers, and technical teams on security architecture principles.
- Drive consistency and quality across security reviews and approvals.

What You'll Bring

Essential Experience

- 10+ years' experience in Security Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, or related leadership roles.
- Strong experience working within highly regulated environments such as healthcare, government, financial services, or critical infrastructure.
- Proven capability reviewing and approving architecture and detailed design documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in security governance, assurance, and risk management.
- Ability to balance security requirements with business outcomes and delivery timelines.
