I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical services contractor with a strong reputation across Sydney. The business delivers high-quality HVAC solutions across commercial, healthcare, retail and institutional sectors and has built long-standing relationships through its focus on quality, technical expertise and customer service.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Senior Service / Minor Works Engineer to lead a small engineering team while overseeing the design and delivery of minor works projects valued up to $1 million .

Key Responsibilities





- Lead the engineering design and delivery of HVAC minor works projects valued up to $1 million.
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of two Mechanical Engineers.
- Produce and review mechanical services designs, calculations and technical documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical support throughout design, procurement, installation and commissioning phases.

What We're Looking For

- Mechanical Engineering qualification with proven experience within the HVAC/building services industry.
- Strong design experience across commercial mechanical services projects.
- Previous experience delivering minor works, refurbishments or upgrade projects.
- Leadership experience or the desire to mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
