About the role:

Build technology that delivers meaningful outcomes.

This is a hands-on, full-stack engineering role for a senior practitioner who enjoys turning complex business needs into secure, scalable and intuitive digital solutions.

You will own features from discovery through design, development, testing, deployment and production support. You will work closely with engineers, product leaders and subject matter experts to create reliable services, high-quality user experiences and well-structured integrations.

What you will deliver:

- Design and build maintainable software across front-end, back-end, APIs and data layers.
- Translate requirements into practical technical designs, balancing usability, reliability, security, performance and delivery timelines.
- Develop responsive, accessible front-end experiences using modern UI patterns and reusable components.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, GraphQL schemas, resolvers, service contracts and integrations with internal and external platforms.
- Write clean, well-tested code and contribute actively to thoughtful code reviews.
- Embed unit, integration and end-to-end testing into delivery.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines through automation, quality gates and dependable deployment practices.
- Establish and uplift standards for security, quality, observability, maintainability and performance.




- Implement effective logging, monitoring, alerting and tracing so services are easy to support in production.
- Identify, prioritise and reduce technical debt while maintaining a strong delivery focus.
- Design with privacy, data security and appropriate controls at the forefront.
- Share knowledge, coach colleagues and help build a positive, accountable engineering culture.

Your technical background:

- Significant experience delivering modern, cloud-native software solutions.
- Strong system architecture and solution design capability.
- Experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, C#, GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Practical knowledge of Apollo Client and Server, NUnit, Jest and Cypress.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Bicep, Azure CLI, YAML and Azure Container Services.
- Confidence using Grafana, Application Insights and Log Analytics for operational insight.
- Knowledge of relational data modelling, SQL Server, Databricks and Power BI.
- Experience designing secure, reliable and scalable systems with robust error handling and resilience patterns.
- Microsoft Azure certifications will be highly regarded.
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
