The Chance
Our client is a highly regarded Queensland builder with an outstanding reputation for delivering quality residential and commercial projects across South East Queensland. They're looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to take ownership of site safety and partner closely with the project team to deliver best-practice health and safety outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive a positive safety culture across the project.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures.
- Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and safety initiatives.
- Investigate incidents and implement preventative actions.
- Coach site teams and subcontractors on best practice.
- Maintain accurate safety reporting and documentation.
- Build strong relationships across site and project teams.
About You
- 3+ years' experience as an HSE Advisor within commercial or multi-residential construction.
- Experience working on projects valued at $30M+ is highly regarded.
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum).
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation.
- Confident communicator who can influence subcontractors and site teams.
- Passionate about creating safe, high-performing project environments.
