First Year Apprentice Carpenter

MAS Carpentry & Construction is looking for a motivated First Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our team.

If you're reliable, enjoy working with your hands, and want to build a long-term career in the construction industry, we'd love to hear from you. You'll work alongside experienced carpenters on residential building projects while completing your apprenticeship.

About the Role

As an apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of residential carpentry, including:

- Assisting with framing, fixing and general carpentry tasks
- Installing windows, doors, skirting, architraves and other timber finishes
- Learning to read plans and use hand and power tools safely
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite




- Working as part of a supportive team while completing your formal apprenticeship training

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Keen to learn and build a career in carpentry
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Comfortable working at heights from ladders and scaffolding (this is a regular part of the role)
- Committed to producing quality work
- Driver's licence preferred
