The Role
Join a well-coordinated care team supporting a long-term NDIS male participant who requires a friendly, male support worker to assist in community access and personal care. You’ll provide a mix of:
- Emotional support and companionship
- Domestic assistance and community access
- Following strict guidelines outlined in care plan
- Experience supporting clients with high mental health needs (desirable)
Note: This role involves supporting a participant with complex psychosocial needs and includes managing behaviours of concern, personal care, and maintaining a safe living environment.
You’ll be great in this role if you are/have
- Sympathetic, empathetic and personable!
- NSW Driver Licence and your own insured vehicle
- Current Checks: NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR
- Reliable availability in the Inner West Sydney Region
Highly regarded
- Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
- Willingness to assist with cleaning and maintaining a safe home environment
- Confidence with care plans, incident reporting and team communication
