SwimTech Albury

City of Albury

At SwimTech, our mission is to save lives by teaching kids to become strong, technical swimmers who can save themselves — not just float or swim a short distance.

We’re growing fast. In 2021 we had 650 students enrolled; today we teach more than 1,800 every week across multiple locations. As we grow, new opportunities open up regularly, and we love seeing our team grow with us.

We don’t win because of a secret trick or a magic method. We win because we do the simple things well, every single lesson — when most schools know what to do but few do it every time.

Our Non-Negotiables

- Safety comes first – Safety is never skipped or rushed.
- No socialising while working – Your focus stays on your students.
- Full lesson time – Lessons run for the full 30 minutes or more.

What We Offer

- Pay slightly above award rates (we’re covered by the Fitness Industry Award).
- Casual weekday and weekend shifts, rostered through our app — claim available shifts that suit you.
- Fortnightly pay.
- Recognition for going above and beyond, plus monthly feedback to help you improve.
- A supportive, growing team where extra effort is noticed and celebrated.

Key Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Swim Teacher, your job is to consistently deliver safe lessons where students want to come back, improve every week,

and parents can clearly see the value. Great teachers do three things every lesson, every week:

- Engage students – Keep them happy, focused, and enjoying their learning.
- Drive improvement – Help every student learn current skills and get better each week.
- Provide value to parents – Make it clear why their child should stay enrolled.

You’ll often work alongside an Assistant Swim Teacher, and the best teachers use their assistant constantly — giving clear instructions, delegating tasks, and asking for help when needed so the lesson runs smoothly and safely.

Skill & Experience

What We’re Looking For

- A current swim teaching qualification (Statement of Attainment) from a recognised provider — Austswim, Swim Australia, or Royal Life (or the willingness to obtain one).
- A current Working With Children Check.
- Someone who cares, works hard, and puts their hand up.
- People who hold themselves to a high standard, take radical accountability for their results, and communicate honestly and clearly.

Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs. Don't transfer any money or complete suspicious online surveys. If you see something suspicious, report this job ad . #J-18808-Ljbffr
