DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel and pressure vessel components
- Work to tight tolerances to ensure precise and accurate outcomes
- Perform quality checks on finished work to meet required standards
- Operate and maintain relevant tools, equipment, and machinery safely
- Follow all Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S;) policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Identify and report any defects, hazards, or non‑conformances
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (Certificate III or equivalent) is essential
- Demonstrated ability to read and fabricate from engineering drawings
- Proven capacity to work consistently to tight tolerances
- High standard of welding skill with ability to pass welding assessments
- Sound knowledge of OH&S; practices and commitment to a safe workplace
- Must be able to pass trade tests covering welding and engineering drawing comprehension
- Experience with structural steel fabrication and pressure vessel work is advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
