As we continue to grow, we are seeking a full-time Warehouse Storeperson to join our dayshift operations in Thomastown. The successful candidate will hold a valid forklift licence and be physically fit, comfortable working at a fast pace, and able to lift up to 25kg.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Flexibility with start and finish times is required, as overtime may be needed from time to time

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Complete forklift pre-start checklists and inspections and promptly reporting any defects or issues
- Unload incoming goods from trucks
- Replenish and rotate stock while monitoring product dates
- Pick and pack goods for despatch and transfer stock
- Manage stock movement and perform pull-downs
- Remove damaged, low-date or out-of-date products from shelves and place them in designated pallet spaces
- Operate reach and counterbalance forklifts (for licensed operators only) and electric pallet jacks
- Perform duties within the chiller and freezer, including managing order-in stock and weighing fresh stock for picking
- Accurately count and verify stock labels during receiving and picking processes
- Assist with cycle counts and stocktakes as required
- Flag inventory discrepancies with the Warehouse Manager
- Complete required records and documentation, including entering receipts accurately
- Use safe manual handling practices when completing physically demanding tasks
- Perform general cleaning duties,



including warehouse sweeping, spill management and rubbish removal
- Adhere to all WHS guidelines at all times, raising and reporting any hazards or issues promptly

Skills and Attributes

- Must have the right to work full-time in Australia
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with at least 2 years in warehouse operations and exposure to cold storage environments
- Maintain the physical capability to safely complete manual tasks, including loading and unloading goods, bending, lifting and carrying up to 25kg
- Valid forklift licence (essential)
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exhibit a keen eye for detail and ensure accuracy, to enable accurate identification of products and quantities
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret instructions, write legibly for documentation purposes, and communicate clearly with team members
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all dealings
- Experience with RF scanners highly regarded
- A Heavy Rigid licence is highly regarded
