Some of the responsibilities include:
To make necessary repairs and alterations of hotel linen
To repair guest room upholstery and curtains as required
To be proficient in the use of sewing machines

Operate commercial washers, dryers and ironing machines in a safe manner
Picking up, tagging and sorting of guest laundry and dry-cleaning
Wash and process staff uniforms
Loading and unloading washing machines
Qualifications
Previous experience within a hotel environment, or a similar fast-paced role
A strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational and time management skills
The ability to act consistently with clear ethics and values in accordance to confidentiality
An understanding of protected lifting practices and occupational health and safety standards are essential
Superior customer service skills along with the capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team
The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
