Role Description The SEO Specialist / Content Editor is a part time, remote role focused on improving the online visibility and content quality of XMATE Sketch Lab’s digital presence. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, and implementing on-page SEO best practices across landing pages and blog content. The role involves performing regular SEO audits, reviewing existing content for optimization opportunities, and ensuring accurate, clear, and consistent messaging.

The SEO Specialist / Content Editor will collaborate with stakeholders to align content with business goals, monitor key metrics using web analytics tools, and support link-building efforts to enhance search rankings and organic traffic.

Qualifications

Ability to perform comprehensive keyword research and apply findings to content strategy and optimization.

Experience conducting SEO audits to identify technical, on-page, and content-related improvements.





Knowledge of link-building tactics and best practices to develop high-quality, relevant backlinks.

Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to track SEO performance and user behavior.

Strong understanding of on-page SEO, including metadata, headings, internal linking, and content structure.

Excellent written communication skills with attention to grammar, clarity, and consistency when editing content.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar) and basic HTML is beneficial.

Prior experience in SEO, digital marketing, or content editing within B2B or professional services is an advantage.
