High Amp is seeking a motivated Painter to join our team. This is a casual, Mackay-based role with the benefit of being home every night and the potential to transition into full-time work.

What the role involves:

Prepare mining equipment, fabricated products, steel components, and associated equipment for painting.

Sand, grind, clean, mask, and prime surfaces prior to painting.

Mix and apply primers, undercoats, and topcoats in accordance with manufacturer specifications.





Operate spray painting equipment and associated tools safely and effectively.

Apply protective coatings and finishes to achieve a high-quality, durable result.

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Company and customer quality standards.

Carry out touch-ups and rectification work where required.

Requirements:

Experience in industrial, automotive, heavy vehicle, or mining equipment painting.

Competency in spray painting techniques and surface preparation.

Robust attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and organisational skills.

A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
