I am a 58-year-old male living in my own home in Oxenford. My interests are developing my extensive CD collection by Op Shopping, Word Searches, Hookey and board games. I belong to Club Helensvale. I am a creature of habit. I love my regular daily and weekly routines. This means that I do struggle adapting to situations where my usual routine is suddenly changed or impacted by things outside of my control. I enjoy spending time with my mother and visit her fortnightly at her Aged Care Facility. I need a lifestyle assistant who has an interest in helping me to follow my schedule and feel comfortable and supported. I also need a lifestyle assistant who is interested in helping me have a well looked after home environment and helps me establish meaningful relationships within my community.

You will be joining my support team and covering the following shifts with the possibility to fill in sleepover shifts and day shifts when requested:

- Saturday 8am - 1pm




- Plus additional shifts when support staff are on leave

You will have:

- Experience with complex behaviours
- A passion for inclusion and be a great social connector
- Have energy and enthusiasm, with a flexible, positive and loyal approach
- Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- There will be a meet and greet to decide if you will be a valuable match.

Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday $40.00 per hour

SHADS Award and loadings for evenings and weekends

Applicant Requirements or willing to obtain:

- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Criminal History checks
- Working with Children card (Blue card)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ (or willing to obtain)
- Rights to Work in Australia
