Team Leader Family Support & Community Engagement
Lead meaningful change for children, young people andfamilies across the Southwest region.
In this rewarding leadership role, you'll guide a team ofdedicated practitioners delivering evidence-informed family support servicesthat promote safety, wellbeing, resilience and recovery. Workingcollaboratively with internal teams, community partners and sectorstakeholders, you'll help strengthen service integration and ensure vulnerablefamilies receive coordinated, culturally responsive support when they need itmost.
As a Team Leader - FamilySupport & Community Engagement, you will:
- Lead and support a team of practitioners delivering Strengthening and Restoring Families programs, providing clinical and operational oversight to achieve positive outcomes forchildren and families.
- Guide effective case management practice, including risk assessment, complex case planning, supervision, workforce development and quality assurance.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with community organisations, Aboriginal services and sector stakeholders to strengthen service coordination, access and inclusion.
- Contribute to program performance, continuous improvement, compliance and strategic initiatives that enhance family safety, wellbeing and long-term resilience across the Southwest region.
- Part-time, fixed term position until 30 June 2027
- 0.7 FTE working 26.6 hours per week

Position Details

- 0.7 FTE working 26.6 hours per week
- $125,021 (pro-rata) p/a + Super & SalaryPackaging
What We’re Looking For
Wevalue individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles.To succeed in this position, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work,Psychology, Human Services, or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation with ademonstrated compliance in work practices.
- Demonstrated experience providing positiveleadership and supervision with a focus on support and accountability of a teamwithin a complex service delivery environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify barriersimpacting participation and access for families and work collaboratively withpractitioners and stakeholders to support practical, inclusive solutions.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with theability to build effective relationships across the organisation andexternally.
- Highly developed communication skills with anability to convey ideas clearly and effectively in both written documents andverbal interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop processes andsystems to improve the quality-of-service ensuring sustainability of serviceactivity.
