We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician with strong PLC programming skills to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role working across industrial maintenance, breakdowns, automation, machine installations and project work for a range of industrial customers.
This position requires someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and can work independently while delivering high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Industrial electrical maintenance and breakdown support
- PLC Understanding, fault finding and modifications
- Machine installations, upgrades and commissioning
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and control system faults
- Assisting with project planning and quoting
- Delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard
- Building robust relationships with customers
About You
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Proven industrial electrical experience
- PLC programming Optional and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with industrial control systems and automation
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Robust communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts to support customer operations
Working Hours
This role requires flexibility. Our customers operate across a range of industries, so you will be required to work a combination of day, afternoon and occasional night shifts as required. Overtime and weekend work will also be required from time to time to support maintenance shutdowns, breakdowns and project deadlines.
