Service Manager – Electrical Services

Location: Perth, WA

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 + Super, depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically capable Service Manager to lead the service division of an established electrical company.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating the service team, preparing quotes, managing client relationships and identifying opportunities to secure additional work. The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and motivated to drive the continued growth and performance of the service department.

Previous experience in electrical service, maintenance or a closely related field is essential. Knowledge of Simpro will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, support and coordinate the electrical service team
- Schedule technicians and allocate service and maintenance work
- Manage jobs from initial enquiry through to completion and invoicing
- Attend sites, assess requirements and prepare accurate quotations
- Review job costs, labour requirements, materials and project margins
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Identify and pursue opportunities for additional and recurring work
- Respond to client enquiries and ensure a high standard of customer service
- Monitor job progress, productivity, quality and profitability
- Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and service technicians
- Ensure service work complies with relevant electrical, safety and company requirements
- Maintain accurate records, job documentation and service reports
- Work closely with management to achieve operational and financial targets




- Use Simpro or similar job-management software to manage scheduling, quoting and reporting

Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated experience in an electrical Service Manager, Service Supervisor or similar position
- Strong technical understanding of electrical service and maintenance work
- Electrical trade qualification or relevant industry background is highly regarded
- Proven experience preparing quotes and estimating service work
- Ability to identify opportunities and bring additional work into the business
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities
- Excellent planning, scheduling and organisational skills
- Commercially minded with an understanding of job costs and profitability
- Confident computer skills and experience using job-management systems
- Simpro knowledge is highly advantageous
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence
