About the Role
As an RN/ EN you will provide clinical leadership, coordinate care plans, supervise ENs/PCAs, and ensure residents receive safe and high-quality care every shift. Our partnered facilities across the region offer ongoing and reliable shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Complete comprehensive assessments and care planning
- Medication administration & clinical interventions
- Wound care, chronic disease management & clinical reviews
- Lead, supervise and support ENs and PCAs
- Review and update documentation (iCare, LeeCare, AutumnCare, Manad etc.)
- Communicate effectively with residents, families & facility teams
- Uphold infection control, WHS and risk management standards
Requirements
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
- Minimum 6 months aged care experience
- National Police Check (current)
- CPR & First Aid
- Manual Handling and Medication Competencies
- COVID-19 & Flu vaccinations (facility requirement)
- Robust communication, critical-thinking & clinical leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
