About Us

For more than 150 years, The Full Moon Hotel has been a much‑loved destination for locals and visitors alike. About The Role

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Wait Staff to join our Restaurant team in permanent full‑time or permanent part‑time roles.

You’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the smooth coordination of restaurant service.

This is a hands‑on role suited to hospitality professionals who are confident working with a high level of autonomy, take ownership of service standards and enjoy supporting the development of others.

Working closely with our Restaurant Supervisors, Restaurant Manager and Duty Managers, you’ll help coordinate service, support junior team members, respond to guest concerns and maintain the high operational standards our guests expect.

You’ll lead through your actions, remain calm under pressure and contribute positively to the atmosphere, energy and performance of the team.

Your day may include:

Delivering warm, attentive and professional food and beverage service

Serving food and beverages efficiently and professionally

Supporting supervisors with floor operations during busy trading periods

Providing guidance,



coaching and support to less experienced team members

Confidently explaining menus, daily specials, beverages and dietary options

Accurately operating POS systems and processing cash and EFTPOS transactions

Working collaboratively with the wider team to create exceptional guest experiences

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need:

Previous experience in a senior food and beverage role within a busy restaurant, hotel or high‑volume hospitality venue

Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanour

Current RSA certificate

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting

A positive attitude and strong team‑focused approach

Reliability, professionalism and high personal presentation standards

A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences

Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
