About the role

Working with our experienced, talented and friendly team in a dynamic and professional workplace there is opportunity for career development whilst being inspired along the way.

Reporting to the Head Chef your responsibilities may include:

- Preparing and cooking food according to customers' orders
- Ensuring that all dishes created are of high quality and presented well
- Provide input to seasonal changes and / or specials to the menus
- Order food supplies as required




- Demonstrating cooking techniques to the kitchen staff and advise other chefs / cooks on cooking procedures
- Help monitor costs with special regard to portion control, waste minimisation and stock control
- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations, safe work practice and having knowledge of allergy restricted food
- Carrying out quality checks on food supplies to ensure quality and freshness
- Liaising with Front of House Manager / team to ensure that a smooth service is always provided to the customers
