About the role
The position of Hygiene Service Technician primarily consists of providing planned maintenance and cleaning of waterless urinals, ad hoc call out support and the installation of new systems for our clients.
- The position is based in Sydney and covers all of NSW. A quarterly trip to Canberra (3 nights) and Newcastle (1 night) is required. Some interstate travel may be required.
This is a Full Time position and Saturday availability is required.
The ideal candidate will be physically fit and good with their hands. They will have some plumbing aptitude and most importantly; they must be comfortable with dealing with corporate clients and regular face-to-face interactions.
What you'll be doing
As a Hygiene Service Technician, you'll manage a regular customer run, providing waterless urinal servicing across a wide range of businesses. Every day brings recent locations,
new people and the opportunity to make a real difference to your customers.
Your responsibilities will include
- Servicing customers sites on a scheduled run to service various urinal types.
- Attend ad hoc callouts to support customers
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing exceptional service.
- Completing service reports on a company provided mobile
- Identifying new opportunities for our customers and referring them on to our sales team
Skills & requirements
- A sound knowledge of basic plumbing principles
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a job to its completion
- Flexibility with work hours to meet operational requirements
- A high standard of workmanship
- A suitable National Police Check and Working with Children Check is required for this role.
