As the Retail Store Manager at Choice Discounts', you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new store coming to Gympie store. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the retail industry.

What you'll be doing

- Manage all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to maximise productivity and sales
- Implement and monitor store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
- Analyse sales data and make strategic decisions to improve store performance
- Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to drive business growth and profitability

What we're looking for

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail management role
- Previous experience in Discount, Department store or Supermarkets is essential
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to build strong relationships with customers




- Proficient in using data and analytics to make informed business decisions
- Proficient in computer use
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable and adaptable to changing business needs
- Flexibility to work across the whole week as we are a 7 day trader
