We're looking for a Business Services Accountant to join a vibrant Private Enterprise team at one of Australia's leading chartered accounting and advisory firms.
This is a genuinely hands‑on role. You'll work directly with a diverse client portfolio, from nimble SMEs to large corporates, and be trusted with meaningful work from day one.
What you'll do
- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns across a varied client base
- Build trusted, long‑term relationships with clients across a wide range of industries and business sizes
- Contribute to tax and accounting advisory work that supports your clients' growth and key business decisions
- Mentor and coach junior team members as you develop your own leadership skills
What you bring
- A degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- Commenced or planning to commence CA qualification
- Solid professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, with a genuine drive to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline‑driven setting
- Experience with Xero is a plus
