ABOUT QUEENSLAND SOCCER ACADEMY

Queensland Soccer Academy (QSA) is a private football development academy established in 2023, operating across multiple locations in Brisbane. We exist to bridge the gap between community and academy football — providing players aged 3 to 16 with the individual coaching, structured programs and year-round game opportunities they need to develop and reach their potential.

We work with players from clubs right across Brisbane and Queensland, operating independently of any club affiliation. Our programs span individual sessions, small group coaching, high performance groups, a girls-only program and a year-round competitive games program. Every environment we create is supportive, structured and designed to develop the complete footballer — technically, tactically and as a person.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a casual or part-time coaching position suited to someone who is serious about their craft and wants to be part of an established, high-quality coaching team. You will work across a variety of sessions — small group training, team environments and individual coaching — with players of different ages and ability levels.

Full training and onboarding is provided. You will join an experienced coaching team and benefit from structured session plans, ongoing development and a supportive environment that takes coaching quality seriously.

HOURS & SCHEDULE





The role is primarily based around weekday afternoon and evening sessions, with some weekend commitments and potential early morning sessions depending on your availability.

Weekday afternoons and evenings — approximately 3:45pm to 6:00pm

Weekend sessions (Sundays and occasional Saturdays)

Potential early morning sessions — subject to candidate availability

Up to 12 hours per week to commence (can be less depending on availability or potentially more)

We are looking for candidates who can commit reliably to their agreed schedule. Consistency matters to our players and families, and we take that seriously in who we bring into the team.

Experience coaching players across a range of ages and ability levels

Comfortable delivering small group sessions, team training and individual coaching

A willingness to learn, develop and grow as a coach alongside an experienced team





Football coaching qualifications valued (FFA/Football Australia C Licence or above) — experience considered equally

Own transport preferred — we operate across multiple Brisbane locations

Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain before commencing)

Background in Strength & Conditioning, youth athletic development, or speed and agility coaching is a genuine bonus and will be viewed favourably
