Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SIAM (Service Integration and Management) Command Center Consultant to join our client in Sydney on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT Service Management, Service Integration, Major Incident Management, and Command Center operations within complex multi-vendor enterprise environments.

The consultant will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination across multiple service providers, driving operational excellence, and maintaining high availability of business-critical services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and manage the SIAM Command Center supporting enterprise IT services.
- Coordinate and govern multiple service providers to ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and OLAs.
- Lead Major Incident Management (MIM), facilitating bridge calls and ensuring timely service restoration.
- Monitor enterprise infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and business services.
- Manage Incident, Problem, Change, and Event Management processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Act as the central communication point during critical incidents and service disruptions.
- Drive service integration across infrastructure, cloud, application, network, and security teams.
- Analyze recurring incidents and work with Problem Management teams to implement permanent fixes.
- Prepare operational dashboards, service reports, and executive communications.
- Ensure compliance with governance, operational standards, and audit requirements.
- Participate in disaster recovery exercises, business continuity activities, and service readiness reviews.




- Identify opportunities for process automation and continual service improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations, Service Management, or SIAM environments.
- Strong experience working in Enterprise Command Center or Network Operations Center (NOC).
- Hands-on experience with SIAM operating models and multi-vendor governance.
- Proven expertise in Major Incident Management and Service Restoration.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 processes.
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira Service Management.
- Experience monitoring enterprise environments using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, or similar.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams during high-priority incidents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 operational environment.

Preferred Skills:

- ITIL Foundation or ITIL 4 Certification.
- SIAM Foundation/Qualified Certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of DevOps, SRE, or Site Reliability practices.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
