Our client is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution sector. We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is perfect for a hands-on, commercially minded professional who can work independently and take full ownership of their tasks.

You will work closely with the Regional Finance Manager to maintain accurate financials in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As the finance team grows, there is a clear pathway to step into a people leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and run the full month-end close process independently.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L;, balance sheets, and cash flow.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheets across multiple entities.
- Post journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax obligations.




- Support internal and external audit requirements, year-end processes, and statutory reporting.
- Provide variance analysis with clear, meaningful commentary on financial performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and AI-driven efficiencies to improve daily operations.
- Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments.

What You Bring

- Proven experience as a Senior Financial Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
- A background in a manufacturing or complex operational workplace is highly preferred.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of deliverables without needing micromanagement.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
