Salary: The salary range for this position is L1.1 - L3.5 under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2024.

About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanic to deliver high-quality education outcomes for our diverse cohort of students. Your current industry experience and passion for sharing knowledge with the next generation of apprentices will be essential to ensure student success. The successful candidate will require a high standard of communication skills, customer service and professionalism, and will be required to teach at the Wangaratta and Wodonga Campus.

About you
You will bring:
- A relevant Vocational Trade Qualification
- Experience working in the Automotive trade (Heavy and/or Light Vehicle and or Automotive electrical)
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122 (GOTAFE supports on the job completion)
- Sound knowledge of current industry standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

What you'll need
Successful applicants will be required to provide:
- a current National Police Check (issued within three months of commencement)
- a current Employee Working with Children Check (or evidence of application)
- a current driver's licence where required.
