About the Chance

Council's Engineering Development & Delivery Branch is seeking a Project Engineer to deliver civil infrastructure projects, manage construction contracts, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and successfully.

Full Time

This role allows for flexible working arrangements and as part of the package, Council will also provide relocation assistance to help support a move to the region.

What you will bring

Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

- A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification with relevant skills and experience, and eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia.
- Confident interpreting engineering standards, legislation, and local laws
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, DRAINS or similar software and experience with WSUD, IWM, and sustainable drainage solutions
- Strong report writing, communication, project management, and contract administration skills, including the development and monitoring of project schedules, budgets, procurement processes, and reporting
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement through the development of quality systems, procedures, and technical documentation, with proven ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver projects on time and within budget
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment

Salary and Conditions

The position is classified within Band 6 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $96,410.60per annum statutory superannuation.
