Redgold is a Horticultural farming company that specialise in growing a range of salad products for delivery across Australia. In order to do this successfully, we rely heavily on a creative and dynamic team of workshop staff to design, build and maintain farm equipment to industry best practice.
We currently have a short-term position available in the team that would suit a workshop / maintenance skilled backpacker, with the option of becoming a long-term position should it suit both parties.
We are in need of skilled trades person to help us maintain machinery in an efficient, safe and reliable manner. This requires good workmanship and a broad general knowledge of workshop trades. Of particular interest are skills in Machining and Automotive Electrical.
The farmis based adjacent theMurray River, between Mildura and Robinvale.
We can assist in finding accommodation either on-site or in the area,to allow new staff to settle into the area.
Work days and weekly hours can be tailored to suit individual or familyneeds. Long hours are also available for those looking to save, with up to 60hrs/week available should you choose to.
This is certainly not a role where you will be doing the same thing every day. The huge variety of different machines, different stages of builds and different skills needed will ensure that tasks are always energetic and unique, making for a very interesting job.
