John Street Dental is seeking a compassionate, organised and motivated Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their knowledge, strengthen their treatment coordination skills and grow alongside a modern dental practice and one of North Brisbane’s fastest growing dental groups.

The position will initially be part time across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, approximately 24 hours per week. As patient demand and treatment volume continue to increase, there will be genuine potential for the role to transition into a full time position.

Key responsibilities

- As our Treatment Coordinator, you will be a trusted point of contact for patients considering or proceeding with comprehensive dental treatment.
- You will help patients understand their treatment recommendations, answer their questions, ease their concerns and guide them confidently through every stage of their treatment journey.
- Coordinating comprehensive treatment plans and appointments
- Explaining treatment options clearly and compassionately
- Discussing fees, payment options and financial arrangements with empathy and confidence
- Following up with patients who are considering treatment
- Maintaining regular communication throughout each patient’s treatment journey
- Working closely with dentists, clinical teams and front office team members
- Maintaining accurate patient notes, follow up records and treatment coordination information
- Working towards agreed treatment coordination and patient conversion goals
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience that reflects the values of John Street Dental
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the clinic

About you

- Has more than three years of dental assisting experience, preferably within an Australian dental practice

Previous treatment coordination experience would be highly regarded however, training and ongoing support will be provided to the right person with strong dental knowledge, communication skills and the motivation to grow.

- Previous experience as a dental treatment coordinator, dental receptionist, or similar patient-facing role in a dental or healthcare setting
- A part time position across Monday, Wednesday and Friday
