The Role:
Lead the planning and scheduling function for major infrastructure or civil construction projects, ensuring the project programme is realistic, achievable, and aligned with contractual requirements.
More specifically this role will entail;
- Develop, maintain and update detailed project programmes using software such as Primavera P6.
- Prepare baseline programmes, recovery programmes and revised schedules.
- Monitor project progress against milestones and identify schedule risks.
- Conduct critical path analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and site teams to optimise delivery.
- Prepare weekly and monthly programme reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Assess the programme impacts of variations, delays and extension of time (EOT) claims.
- Participate in tender planning and methodology development.
- Coordinate with commercial, engineering and procurement teams to ensure programme alignment.
- Support resource and productivity planning.
- Ensure compliance with contractual planning requirements and reporting obligations.
Competencies we're seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture. Master in complementary field (Highly valued)
- At least 12 years post graduate experience with 9 years project based, including management
- Solid analytical skills required to review all project controls information and ensure accuracy as well as identify issues, concerns and potential mitigations
- Working experience with Primavera, Oracle Unifier (Preferred), , Excel, Autocad / Revit /Bluebeam (Highly valued)
