Overview

You’ll become part of a modern SIAM (Service Integration and Management) team responsible for delivering exceptional ICT services across multiple client environments.

Working closely with our CIO/CISO, developers, project teams and client stakeholders, you’ll manage incidents, service requests, Microsoft cloud environments and enterprise applications while helping drive continual service improvement.

Strategic Executive Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced System Administrator / Service Desk Engineer to join our rapidly growing HapticHIVE™ Service Desk team in Canberra.

This is not your typical Service Desk role.

You’ll work across enterprise Microsoft cloud environments, AI-enabled automation, Azure infrastructure, Governance, Risk & Compliance platforms, and integrated digital ecosystems supporting both Strategic Executive Solutions and our government and commercial clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

Service Desk & ITSM

- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.
- Manage incidents through to successful resolution.
- Coordinate service requests using Microsoft Planner Premium and HapticHIVE™ Service Desk.
- Support change, release and problem management.
- Perform root cause analysis.




- Maintain knowledge articles and technical documentation.
- Monitor SLA performance.

You’ll work within an enterprise Service Integration and Management framework by:

- Participating in CAB meetings
- Supporting governance reporting
- Monitoring operational performance
- Improving service processes
- Assisting transition of new services into production

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a System Administrator or ICT Support role

Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance (minimum)

- ITIL or ITSM knowledge

Highly Desirable

- Experience with:
- Microsoft Planner Premium
- SharePoint Online
- Power Platform
- API integrations
- MCP integrations
- Managed Service Providers (MSP)
- Power BI
- Zero Trust security architectures

Qualifications

Current Microsoft certifications relevant to Microsoft 365 or Azure

Minimum three years Government or industry ICT experience

Highly Regarded

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert




- ITIL Foundation v4
- Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
- CompTIA Security+
- CISSP
