Lead inclusive education at Beenleigh State High School as Head of Special Education Services (HO1) .

Working as part of the leadership team, you will strengthen inclusive practices, build staff capability and lead the Special Education Program to improve outcomes for students with disability.

This temporary role, until 11 December 2026, offers the opportunity to influence whole-school practice, foster collaborative partnerships and drive evidence-informed approaches that support every student to succeed.

This is a temporary full-time position until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

The Head of Special Education Services role includes a partial teaching load . Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Lead the Special Education Program and strengthen inclusive education across the school.
- Work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, families and external agencies to support students with disability.
- Build staff capability and support the implementation of effective adjustments and targeted interventions.
- Use evidence-informed practice to improve student engagement, participation and learning outcomes.
- Foster positive partnerships and contribute as a key member of the leadership team.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to inclusive education and the ability to build collaborative relationships that support students, staff and families.
