The Opportunity
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient or Advanced level) to join our team, delivering high-quality behaviour support services to participants across Melbourne. This role offers flexibility, with a mix of client-facing and remote/telehealth work available depending on location.
You will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule while being supported by a collaborative and experienced leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behaviour support assessments
- Develop Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
- Undertake Functional Behaviour Assessments
- Support the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices
- Collaborate with participants, families, support teams and stakeholders
- Deliver training and coaching to support workers and families
- Maintain high-quality documentation and reporting in line with NDIS requirements
- Participate in clinical supervision and quality improvement activities
About You
You will be registered as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission and possess:
- Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support services within the NDIS environment
- Strong understanding of restrictive practice legislation and reporting requirements
- Excellent assessment, report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to the wider team
- Strong commitment to person-centred and evidence-based practice
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current driver’s licence
