IT FIELD TECH - IPTEL & SNOM UPGRADE MULTI-SITE (RETAIL)

3 months employment as part of IP PHONE REPLACEMENT roll-out for a leading national retailer
We need a reliable, motivated and experienced IT Technician to join our client's existing team. You will be one of several given induction training to meet the expectation for multi-site delivery to this prestigious customer. On average, closing 3-4 jobs per day, you will remove existing IP Phones and SNOMs, installing replacement devices. You will need to communicate with Telco providers and test/achieve connectivity of recent devices; or report and elevate any technical difficulties on the site before moving on.
You must have experience of a similar nature, using hand-tools, cabling/connecting, testing in this space.
A suitable vehicle that holds maybe a week's stock will be provided by you. You will need to return old technology equipment to base (23 kms north-west of CBD Melbourne) and collect new devices. This is a broad geographical project across Greater Melbourne so expect some days to call for lots of driving!
You will not be expected to work more than 37.5 hours per week, MON to FRI, within business hours - between 0830 & 1700 hrs.
Pay rate: $42.00 per hour plus Super. Your choice: ABN (self-employed) or PAYG.
Reimbursed on 91c/km for business travel (between sites). Parking fees are not expected as all sites have customer car parks. Any incidental tools, expenses will be reimbursed after prior approval. T-shirts provided.
