The Opportunity

MinRes is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to provide geological support to our provide site-based geotechnical design, hazard management, monitoring, and operational support for mining operations at our MT Marion Lithium site. You will play an integral role ensuring compliance with the Ground Control Management Plan (GCMP) and support safe, effective mine operations while driving continual improvement in geotechnical practices.

This role commences on an 8D6X roster flying from Perth.

What is required?

- Recognised tertiary degree in Civil, Geological Engineering, or Engineering Geology (or related discipline)




- Post-graduate qualification in Geotechnical Engineering / Engineering Geology advantageous
- Experienceworking within an open pit production mining environment providing site-based monitoring, data collection and geotechnical engineering advice.
- Proficient in hazard mapping, data collection, stability modelling, and geotechnical reporting.
- Familiar with industry-standard mining and geotechnical software (e.g., RocScience suite, Vulcan).

Mt Marion is located 40km south-west of Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining activities at Mt Marion, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tonnes (SC6 equivalent).
