Join our close-knit WFI team as a Customer Insurance Consultant , where you’ll support customers with personalised service while building strong technical, product and underwriting knowledge. In this role, you'll build trusted customer relationships, solve problems, assess insurance risks, provide insurance solutions and deliver exceptional service across a range of customer needs. No insurance experience is required. We’re looking for people with the right attitude, resilience, qualified maturity, strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn.

This is a permanent full‑time role commencing 6 October 2026 based in Jagera Giabal and Jarowair Country (Toowoomba).

What You’ll Do

- Build strong relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service across a range of insurance enquiries and products.
- Work professionally within a close-knit regional office environment, building positive relationships across teams and contributing to a supportive team culture.
- Assess risks and make underwriting decisions within approved guidelines and authority levels.
- Confidently navigate complex customer situations in a calm, qualified and solution-focused way.
- Manage customer interactions, administrative tasks and multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.




- Use sound judgement, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail to deliver accurate customer and policy outcomes
- Complete the nationally recognised ANZIIF Tier 2 General Insurance Compliance Certification in your first six months, while building your product, underwriting and industry knowledge through hands‑on training and coaching.

- Accountability, sound judgement and a desire to build a long‑term career within a supportive team environment.
