Just Socials is a boutique social media and content agency based in Perth, working with a growing portfolio of brands across hospitality, beauty, lifestyle, property and more.

We help businesses show up better online through social media strategy, content creation, photography, short-form video, copywriting and paid social.

We’re a small, growing agency (team of 1 at the moment!) which means you have the opportunity to grow with us as we rapidly expand this year, and be genuinely involved in our clients, contribute ideas, build strategies and help shape the way Just Socials grows.

We’re looking for a Part-Time Social Media Manager to join the team and help manage our growing client portfolio.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on social media role suited to someone who loves both the creative and strategic sides of social.

You’ll work closely with the founder of Just Socials across a portfolio of client accounts, helping take content from idea through to execution.

Depending on your experience, you’ll be involved in:

- Developing monthly social media strategies and content plans for clients
- Coming up with creative concepts, Reel ideas, hooks and trending content
- Planning Instagram feeds and ensuring each client’s content feels cohesive and on-brand
- Writing engaging, natural captions in different brand voices
- Editing short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Creating simple, polished graphics and carousels in Canva
- Scheduling and publishing content
- Managing content calendars, client feedback and approvals




- Keeping across Instagram and TikTok trends, platform updates and emerging content formats
- Reviewing account performance and identifying what’s working, what isn’t and what we should do next
- Supporting community management where required
- Helping create content for Just Socials’ own social channels
- Occasionally assisting with client content shoots and being part of behind-the-scenes or Just Socials content

This role has plenty of room to grow. As you become familiar with our clients and processes, the goal is for you to confidently take greater ownership of accounts from strategy through to posting. WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

- Has at least 1-2 years experience working in social media marketing or a like role
- Understands that social media management is more than simply posting pretty content
- Can look at a brand and come up with strategic, relevant content ideas
- Has a strong understanding of social media trends and platforms
- Is confident editing short-form video
- Confident and happy to appear on camera for our own social channels
- Can write captions that sound natural, engaging and specific to each brand
- Has a great visual eye and understands what makes an Instagram feed look good




- Is confident using editing programs such as Canva, CapCut, and Edits
- Is extremely organised and comfortable managing multiple clients, deadlines and content calendars
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can take initiative rather than waiting to be told exactly what to do
- Is reliable, proactive and communicates clearly
- Is Perth-based and available to occasionally attend shoots, meetings or content days in person

THE DETAILS

- Part-time position (with the view to going full-time in the near future)
- Hours/days negotiable for the right person
- Mostly remote initially, with occasional Perth-based shoots and meetings
- We’re currently working towards having our own Just Socials office within the next 3-6 months, at which point the role will adapt from remote to in-person
- Significant opportunity for the role to grow, with the potential to become a full-time position as Just Socials continues to expand

NICE TO HAVE Not essential, but definitely a bonus if you have:

- Previous agency experience

- Photography or videography experience

- Meta Business Suite experience
- Rella, Notion or similar project/content management experience
- Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop experience
- Email marketing / EDM experience

- Meta Ads knowledge
- Broader digital marketing or copywriting experience
