About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth within our Grounds Services Division, Programmed Property Services is seeking an experienced Gardening Team Leader to join our team in Melbourne CBD .

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated horticultural qualified to lead a team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of client sites. You will play a key role in coordinating daily operations, supervising team members and contractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a full-time permanent position offering a variety of work,



autonomy in the field and opportunities for career growth within a nationally recognised business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a team delivering horticultural and grounds maintenance services
- Coordinate daily work schedules and site activities
- Undertake a range of gardening and landscape maintenance tasks
- Monitor and audit the quality of works completed by employees and contractors
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to client expectations
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Promote and maintain safe work practices across all sites
- Complete site documentation, reporting and administrative requirements
- Support the Project Manager in the planning and delivery of maintenance programs

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a hands-on leader with a passion for horticulture, strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

You will also possess:

- Demonstrated experience in grounds maintenance and horticulture
- Previous experience leading or supervising a gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance team
- Relevant horticultural qualifications or equivalent industry experience




- Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills
- Competent written and verbal communication skills
- A sound understanding of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems
- The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, contractors and team members
- Current Driver's Licence (essential)
