Position Overview: Best2Joinery Carpentry & Projects is a growing Australian construction business specialising in carpentry, joinery, cabinet making, labour hire and residential and commercial projects across Sydney and Melbourne. The company is committed to delivering quality workmanship, reliable service and tailored building solutions. This role requires a skilled tradesperson with strong craftsmanship, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Interpret architectural drawings, joinery details, specifications and project documentation to manufacture and install custom timber and cabinetry solutions for residential and commercial projects.
- Measure, mark, cut, machine and assemble timber, laminates, MDF, plywood and other materials to construct high-quality cabinetry, joinery and carpentry components.
- Manufacture and install custom kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, entertainment units, office fit outs and bespoke joinery to client and project specifications.
- Construct, install and finish doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, stair components, wall linings, flooring and other structural and decorative carpentry elements.
- Install and adjust cabinetry, benchtops, hardware, hinges, drawer systems and other fittings to achieve precise alignment, functionality and premium finishes.
- Carry out on-site fit-outs, alterations and refurbishment works while ensuring minimal disruption to clients and other trades working on residential and commercial projects.
- Select appropriate materials,



hardware and construction methods to ensure durability, functionality, aesthetic quality and compliance with Australian Standards and building regulations.
- Operate, maintain and safely use a wide range of woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools while following workplace health and safety procedures.
- Inspect completed carpentry and joinery work, identify defects or variations, perform adjustments where required and ensure all work meets company quality standards before handover.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, cabinet makers, carpenters and other construction trades to coordinate installation schedules and achieve project deadlines.
- Estimate material requirements, minimize waste, maintain accurate records of materials used and assist in maintaining productive workshop and site operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workshop and worksite while delivering exceptional workmanship and professional customer service that reflects Best2Joinery Carpentry & Projects' commitment to quality and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Relevant qualification.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Carpenter / Cabinet Maker.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- High level of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, joinery techniques and WHS requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 – $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
