Deltatech International Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic Wear Product Specialist to join our growing team in Hope Valley, Western Australia. In this role, you'll partner with mining clients to identify challenges, develop innovative wear solutions, and drive sustainable growth across our Fixed Plant Mining sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise, business development, and customer engagement while working with a respected engineering and fabrication company.

About the Role

As a Wear Product Specialist, you will be responsible for growing and supporting our wear products portfolio across the mining industry. You'll work closely with mine sites to understand operational challenges, recommend tailored wear solutions, and help customers maximise equipment performance and asset life.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that includes regular travel to mine sites and regional operations throughout Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing mining clients while identifying new business opportunities.

Provide technical advice and wear management solutions that improve equipment reliability, performance, and service life.

Conduct site inspections and collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for wear package upgrades and process improvements.

Drive sales growth across our range of wear products and fabricated solutions.

Work closely with engineering, operations,



and sales teams to develop and deliver creative wear products.

Prepare technical proposals, specifications, business cases, and pricing submissions.

Manage projects through the complete product lifecycle, from concept and design through to manufacture and delivery.

Support the wider sales team with product expertise and technical guidance.

Monitor product performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

Contribute to product demand planning for operations and stocking strategies.

Contribute to the ongoing development of our Fixed Plant Mining Wear product offering.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring a combination of technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and a solid customer focus.

Proven experience with Fixed Plant wear products and applications within the mining industry.

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and consistently deliver results with minimal supervision.

Robust knowledge of:

Abrasion Resistant Quenched and Tempered Steels

Chromium Carbide Weld Overlay Plates

Bimetallic Wear Solutions

Ceramic Wear Products

Rubber-Lined Fabrication

Background in fabrication, welding, metallurgy, materials science, or a related technical field.

Sound understanding of reverse engineering, 3D scanning, shop detailing, and engineering approval processes.

Demonstrated success in B2B sales, account management,



or technical solution selling within mining, engineering, or OEM environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both site personnel and senior decision-makers.

Comfortable working across both blue-collar and corporate environments.

Willingness to travel regularly to mine sites and regional locations.
