At K-Life, cleaning is about more than maintaining a tidy environment. Our cleaners play an important role in supporting the health, safety, comfort and dignity of older people. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, respects the homes and personal spaces of others, and understands the value of providing friendly and dependable service.
About the Role

- Follow infection prevention and control, manual handling and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Respect the privacy, dignity, choices and personal belongings of residents and clients.
- Identify and report hazards, maintenance concerns, changes in a client’s wellbeing or other issues to the appropriate team member.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
- Communicate respectfully with residents, clients, families, employees and other members of the community.
- Work cooperatively with the Housekeeping, Community Care and broader K-Life teams.
About You
You will be dependable, respectful and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will take pride in providing consistent, high-quality cleaning and be comfortable working in the personal living spaces of older people.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in commercial, health, aged care, community or domestic cleaning.
- A genuine interest in supporting older people to live safely and comfortably.
- Strong attention to detail and positive time-management skills.
- The ability to follow cleaning schedules, service plans and workplace procedures.
- An understanding of infection prevention and control and safe chemical handling practices.
- A respectful and professional approach to privacy, confidentiality and personal boundaries.
- The ability to communicate warmly and appropriately with older people from diverse backgrounds.
- The physical capacity to safely undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
- Flexibility to work casual shifts across the residential facility and Community Care services.
- A current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered and insured vehicle for community-based work.
Experience in aged care or community services will be highly regarded; however, applicants with the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain relevant employment screening checks and provide evidence of any mandatory role requirements before commencing.
Why Join K-Life?

This casual position offers:
- Variety across residential aged care and community-based services.
